I have a Onan Microlite 2800 generator and it won't start when it’s cold. After about twenty to thirty minutes of trying to get it started and the generator finally gets warm enough to start. I do need to hold, lack for a better phrase, “the gas pedal in" for about a minute until it starts to run smoothly. When I pull the plug before I start it I do notice a dark runny liquid coating the spark plug. I'm fairly certain that it's not oil because it doesn’t ooze of the plug, but runs of like water or gas. Any suggestions?
