COLEMAN ROOF AIR JACK EVANS 6-2-08
I HAVE A 1987 WINNEBEGO ELANDAN WITH TWO ROOF AIRS. THE REAR BLOWS REAL COLD AND OPERATES AS IT SHOULD. THE FRONT COMES ON AND BLOWS BUT THE AIR DOES NOT GET COLD.

CAN THESE UNITS BE RECHARGED ? IF SO IS IT SOMETHING I CAN DO MYSELF ?

THANKS
JACK

Yes they can be recharged. But they use R-22 freon.

Before you waste some ones time---be sure compressor is starting---you might have bad start capacitor,

Re: COLEMAN ROOF AIR Rick 6-23-08
I have a coleman unit on my 1993 30 ft. Ford E350 Conquest. The unit works pretty good and gets cold but the unit seems to cycle off too early. Shouldn't the unit (compressor) keep running to the desired temp. before the comp. shuts down? What can cause the comp. to cycle off before it should? I have cleaned the coils and everything looks good.
