No propane when rv is not running heidi 5-30-08
I have a 1986 winnebago itasca "minnie winnie". i can only keep the pilot lights lit and working is when the rv is running. the stove always works. thier is no generator or invertor. i'm not sure if this would matter. there are 2 batteries under the hood. any help and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My first thought is that there is an electrical solenoid valve just downstream of the Propane pressure regulator. This valve is often part of a propane leak detector system. If the rig is new to you, look around for the detector near the floor level with it's associated switch. The fact that the engine must be running in order for the valve to open would mean that the coach battery and wiring has a problem.
