95 tranny to 97 harness justin 5-3-08
I need help hooking up my 95 blazer auto tranny to a 97 s-10 truck that had a 2.2 in it. i changed the engine harness and computer but still has stock dash harness with no tranny plug. can this be spliced in or do i need to change the dash harness too. the motor is a 4.3 vortec and it seems to be running fine. so if anyone can give some advice on this issue it woul be most helpful to me.
Re: 95 tranny to 97 harness BUBBA THE BUS TECH 5-5-08
You need to manuals with wiring diagrams. You need the one for the truck and one for the donor vehical. Then stat tracing wires and meld the two harneses. I thought that you would have had to build a harness to make the engine run. The trans should be the same. I can't rember if the trany computor is seperate or integral to the engine comp on either unit you are using here. Good Luck
