Can my oil wear out?

Home > FAQs > Diesel Engines

Post New Message add a FAQ

Oil does not wear out, it simply becomes contaminated, due to inadequate filtration, to the point that it needs to be drained away. The actual base stock oil never wears out, only the additives in the oil become depleted due to contamination.
