|2003 chevy tracker flat towing||Dave||3-23-07|
|I have a 2003 tracker 4-door, automatic,4wd. I have been told I can't flat tow it because it has automatic free-wheeling hubs rather than the manual ones. This doesn't make sense to me but does anyone out there know for sure?? HELP???|

I also have a 03 tracker automatic 4x4
witch I tow 4 down, the only thing you have to do is put the 4x4 shifter in netural and make sure the steering wheel is unlocked, you should have all the info in the book that came with the tracker..

|We are preparig to flat tow our 2003 4wd, auto trans, Tracker behind our motorhome. The instructions say to keep speed max to 55 and run 1 minute every 200 miles to circulate hte transfer case oil.|
I am curious about other peoples experience. I have spoken to people toeing Trackers who said they towed them above 55 with no problems and some who did not always run them every 200 miles.
I am interested in what others have experienced, problems etc., with Trackers (or Geos). particularly the 2003 or so models.
I would expect some margin in hte published recommendations; for example occasionally going over 55 on a hill or going farther than 200 miles when turnouts were not spaced conveniently.

|Hi, I have a 2003 tracker, 4X4 automatic that I want to tow 4-down behind my motorhome, can I use any universal towbar? Exactly how do I bolt it to the frame since the frame rails are on an angle? Can you show me a pic of yours mounted?|
