My husband and I have done fulltime RVing for 3 1/2 years and own a 5th wheel, 2002 NuWa Hitchhiker Champagne, and pull it with a 2000 Ford F-450 truck.
From a young age, I have always been involved with art and people. Growing up I was a member of the local 4-H club, and then starting my own sterling silver jewelry business at the age of 14. Living near an art community, I was a member of the local craftsmen guild and sold her items on consignment in various shops. From starting my career as a graphic designer for the local newspaper and TV magazine, this led me to owning her own business, while raising 4 children. I learned to multi-task very quickly. I then entered the corporate world as a designer, then earned the position as regional manager for a Fortune 100 company. My caring and training toward my staff, led me to awards. This is where I found my niche with people. With growing up on a dairy farm in eastern Pennsylvania, and enjoying all aspects of farm and rural life, I chose to retire from the fast-pace life in the corporate world, to live my life as the real country girl that I am. I'm never afraid to get dirty, and have a great sense of humor. You have to have one to be a full-timer. I've aged since this photo. (2 years)
One sentence to sum up my RV experience - many breakdowns, always have enough gas money and be healthy. Also, don't leave home until YOUR family is ready. |
