HELLO,
PLEASE DONT THINK I AM A NUT CASE
WHEN TRAVALING IN AN RV IT IS YOUR HOME
I ALSO KNOW A WEAPON IS YOUR LAST RESORT TO SAVE YOUR LIFE (ONLY TO BE USED IF YOUR LIFE IS IN IMINANT DANGER OF LOSS)
BUT TRAVALING AROUND PUTS YOU IN PLACES YOU DID NOT KNOW ARE DANGERIOS.
WE ALL KNOW THE AREAS WE GREW UPIN
AND THE PARTS NOT TO TRAVAL IN
I THINK IT WOULD BE ALRIGHT TO TRAVAL WITH THE GUN IN ONE AREA AND THE CLIP LOCKED UP IN ANOTHER AREA OF THE RV
I KNOW ALL 50 STATES ARE DIFFERANT BUT I AM JUST LOOKING FOR A GUIDE
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME
MIKE SODA
Hi Mike,
We attended Life on wheels a couple of years ago and I found a booklet on gun laws in all 50 states its well worth it. here is a link to the site http://www.gunlawguide.com/ It looks like you might need to copy and paster it into your browser I hope you find this help full. Doug
You're right. Each state is different. Some will allow you to pack if you have a CCW from another state that offers reciprocity. Others consider it a felony (and will throw you in jail) if you have a weapon anywhere in your vehicle (including your RV) if it's loaded.
The book referenced above is $13 - and it's money well spent.
You can also go to www.packing.org to see what they say. The list all the carry laws from each state, including "innocent passage" laws, whether you have to declare a weapon during a traffic stop, whether it's legal to have it on your dashboard, in your glove box, or if it has to be locked in your trunk.
