My partner and I have been fulltimers for almost two years now. We fulltime in a 24ft 97 Wilderness and we bought used in TX because they had extremely low prices on rigs that were in awesome condition. I recommend used because there are tons of great used vechiles out there that you will not have to make much of a money commitment to, plus all the new RV kinks have more then likely been worked out.
South Dakota is a state many fulltimers use because insurance is low, no emissions tests, and great mail forwarding services for a lost cost are available.
I highly recommend joining a camping club such as Thousand Trails for safety and comfort issues. We are TTNLT members and we love it.
