I'm thinking about fulltiming too. I know nothing about RVs other than what I've researched online, so I can't help you there. I can only imagine that you'd get a better deal at the end of the summer season than you would if you bought in the spring.
If I do go out on the road I'm going to claim NH residence (I currently live on the MA/NH border), since there is no sales tax and no state income tax in NH. I don't know about excise tax, though. MN also has no sales, from what I've seen in Motorhome mag. Can't speak to their annual income taxes. |
