Post New Message Regarding the 1997 olds: It is aV6,auto w/front wheel drive.I believ that the tranny is the same as on Cavalier only 6 cylinder---The olds Trans Number is 4T60-E while the Cavalier trans Number is 4T40-E.I think that the numbers 6 And 4 denotes the number of cylinders.what do ya think? GL
