12 Volt TO OPERATE THE REFRIGERATOR Wanderer 1-20-03
When on the highway I have been using propane to fuel the frig. I've now read that could be dangerous and you should use the frig on 12volt while on the go. What do you use? Does 12 Volt work well? Do you agree it's unsafe? Thanx
Re: 12 Volt TO OPERATE THE REFRIGERATOR HERMAN 1-22-03
12 Volts is fine and safe, the pilot light in the propane goes off when driving because of wind. When driving it is advisable to keep the propane tank main valve closed so in case of an accident there is no propane in the lines which can rupture and cause a fire.
