Re: Motor Home or Fith Wheel? by Technobody
Post New Message WE are looking at being full timers as well. However, some of the arguments aren't really valid. You don't have to have a tow vehicle with a motor home. You can shop in all kinds of malls in which you can park a motor home. Do your shopping before you go to a camp ground. A fifth wheel isn't easier to maneuver than a motorhome. I have driven both transports as well as buses. I can tell you right up front that a bus is easy to drive and park than a fifth wheel any day. Motorhomes have as much space as a fifth wheel any day. Of course I am talking about a Class A motorhome not a B or C
With a fifth wheel you also have to worry about the tow vehicle and maintanance. I some cases, the tow vehicle get worst fuel mileage than a motorhome.
I have made up my mind that a Class A motorhome is the way to go.
