|Motor Home used as Office||Mary||12-27-10|
|We have a 35 foot motor home which I use as my office 100% of the time. I am a consultant. Even when we take trips, I work from the RV easily 8 hours a day while my husband drives to a specific destination and I have documentation to prove it. Am I eligible for any deductions?|

|You are in a gray area here. Bests to get advice form a good tax adviser. There are several things he will need to know such as:|
Are you a full fledged business paying taxes and carrying any kind of license?
If not, you will probably find it more difficult to prove your case that this is an office expense.
Is all of your office business conducted from the RV?
If you have another office, you may find you can not deduct much of the expenses.
Do you live full time in the unit?
If so, you will probably only be able to get a partial deduction on your unit and expenses.
You can always take the deductions you feel you have and risk an audit, but I would at least invest a few bucks with an accounting firm.
