We purchased a travel trailer this year that we use as a second home at a private lake. We spend almost every weekend for 6 months of the year at the trailer as well as many additional days during the week during that time. Our trailer is self contained, that is, it has a full kitchen, sleeping quarters and a full bathroom that includes a toilet and shower. Can this be considered a second home by the IRS and can we take the tax we paid as well as the interest we have paid in 2008 off our taxes? Thank you. Bette Blair
