Last year my husband and I left corp. America, put our furnishings in storage (we were renting at the time)and decided to take his newly developed software business on the road to sell. We use our RV as home and office and want to know what expenses we can deduct. Can anyone help us? Thanks.
We too live in and work from our RV with an internet business as well as sell custome picnic table covers ( www.TableTopMaps.com) on the road. In talking to other Rv'ers we'll be able to deduct ALL RV expenses.
SAVE EVERY RECEIPTS!
Deductions for us will be actual expenses:
1. Fuel
2. Camping fees ( under lodging)
3. cell phone cost, internet, etc.
4. Some meals which fall under business related meetings.
Everything we do is under my small "S Corporation"
I would highly recommend that you get in touch with a CPA who can answer your questions professionally. Good luck to you!
